Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the Fatherless and the widows in their affliction, and keep oneself unspotted from the world.
- James 1:27
Servant/Volunteers
Servant/Volunteers are vital to the ministry of The Shepherd’s Staff. These dedicated servants provide prayer cover, disciple new believers, tutor struggling students, transport needy clients, lead Bible Studies, man community outposts, organize needed donations, serve at clothing closets, offer guidance to families, provide supervision for children’s activities, and a myriad of other services.
Restore
Gifts and talents take many forms. We are always looking for volunteers who have construction and remodeling skills to assist with handyman type jobs around ministry facilities, as well as within the community. If you enjoy painting, cleaning, and restoration work, we have a spot for you.
Encourage
Children are the future of our world, and yet many of them are lacking the guidance, encouragement and nurturing they need to become thriving adults. We have a constant need for adults who can do crafts, mentor and tutor children of all ages. We are also seeking servant/volunteers who can share wisdom and knowledge with parents who are trying to overcome obstacles and learn parenting skills.
Organize
We often have families with clothing or household needs. If you have items to donate, feel free to reach out to us. We are also looking for volunteers who can help organize and distribute donations through our various ministry resources. if sorting and organizing is your talent, please consider reaching out to us.
